CHRISTMAS SHOPPING CHALLENGE | with boon.

We all know how strenuous it can be hitting the high-street before/during (and potentially after too) the festive period. This year, for some unknown reason I attempted Harrods on Kensington high-street, London on a Sunday in December. I still don't know why I did that (plus I still haven't recovered from it either). Luckily, the new boon. app with Apple Pay is here to make life easier...

If you didn't know already, boon. with Apple Pay is a simple, pretty darn smart way to pay, especially if you want to avoid the crowds (by nailing your holiday shopping list online) or you're in a bit of a hurry in-store (just scan contactlessly with your phone - which is great, if like me, your iPhone is permanently attached to your right hand). After downloading the app, set up your wallet on your iPhone and pay instantly, with a single tap! #eek It's super easy!

 - THE CHALLENGE: CHRISTMAS PARTY -
'With so many Christmas parties to go to - how do you dress for them all without burning through your entire Christmas budget. Your challenge is to buy the following...'

1. A Christmas party outfit that can be worn 2 or 3 ways.
2. A Christmas party accessory
3. A secret Santa gift for that friend who says they aren't a hipster but definitely are, bought from a charity shop
4. A Christmas sweater

Hmmmm....see how I got on below!

1. A Christmas party outfit that can be worn 2 or 3 ways
DRESS: TOPSHOP (shop)

Using the TOPSHOP app and a couple of taps, I'd ordered this little beaut. For the evening pair it with a pair of embellished silver shoes and bare legs. For the day, think black biker jacket and ankle boots.

2. A Christmas party accessory
BAG: ZARA (shop)
Using the Zara app I quickly bagged and paid for this little crystal-encrusted number from one of my high-street favs. With its glittering jewels it makes for the perfect accessory for hitting all those Christmas parties with!

3. A secret Santa gift for that friend who says they aren't a hipster but definitely are, bought from a charity shop...
NOVEL: The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
With my cool, hipster friend in mind I picked up this novel from The British Heart Foundation for 43p.

4. A Christmas sweater
SWEATER: Only at Zalando (shop similar)
I managed to bag this little navy blue star-themed number off the Zalando app from ONLY in mere minutes.
