3 THINGS I LEARNT THIS #WEEKEND

...and so is Paz Vega it seems. Last week the Spanish actress took to the red carpet at the opening ceremony and premier of 'Everest' during the 72nd Internation Venice Film Festival in a breath-taking, SHOW-STOPPING pale grey silk organza halter neck gown by the couture connoisseurs' RALPH & RUSSO. Glittering against the lights of the paparazzi, the gown's beautiful glass bead and pearl droplet embellishment was a sight for sore eyes. To have that in your closet is but a DREAM!

September 3rd marked the launch of the first Green Carpet Collection of luxury accessories. The partnership behind the launch includes Livia Firth (Creative Director, Eco-Age), Angelo Ruggeri (Collections Design Director, Sergio Rossi) and Nadja Swarovski (member of the Swarovski Executive Board). Hosted at an intimate cocktail reception at Wellington Arch, the launch saw the likes of Colin Firth, Caroline Rush and Nick Knight in attendance; all there to admire the unique collaboration between Eco-Age (a brand consultancy which specialises in sustainability) and Sergio Rossi. I absolutely adore the glittering shoes and clutch bags – inspired by the beauty of a butterfly and their neutral, but extremely CHIC colour palette...

The BFC (British Fashion Council) has announced the launch of three (rather epic) t-shirts designed by the one and only HOUSE OF HOLLAND for London Fashion Weekend. Each of the cool, individual t-shirts bares a signature HOUSE OF HOLLAND trademark, and is the perfect momento for taking home after the HIGH-VOLTAGE, fashion-FABULOUS weekend! Not only this, but the designer will present his #AW15 collection on Saturday 26th September as part of the official London Fashion Week catwalk schedule, and be interviewed on the same day by Daisy Lowe in the Talks Gallery – a MUST-NOT-MISS if there ever was one! BUT, how do you get your mitts on one? I hear you ask. T-shirts will be available to buy at the event from 'The London Fashion Weekend Pop Up' and for a limited time only, be available to purchase online with tickets prior to the fabulous event. GET READY! The four-day event opens on Thursday 24th September – and remember! #LFW & London Fashion Weekend has a new home: The Saatchi Gallery, Duke of York Square on the King's Road. SO, what are you waiting for?
