H&M debuts at the MET BALL #2015

Last week we saw some SERIOUS style hit the red carpet at the MET BALL #2015. One of my high-street favourites, H&M, debuted some SHOW-STOPPING looks at the event, while hosting a table. Collaborating with committee member, Sarah Jessica Parker on her custom-made gown, as well as Vanessa Hudgens, Jillian Banks and Janelle Monae, the brand sure showed us how to take to the red-carpet in STYLE. These custom designs from the brand were inspired by this year's exhibition theme: "China: Through the Looking Glass", and allowed for the brand to create one-of-a-kind pieces in collaboration with each of their amazing guests. Incorporating beautifully intricate and handmade beading, divine embroidery and incredible pleats, the design team at H&M did not hold back.

“It has been an honour and a pleasure for H&M to take part in fashion’s most prestigious event of the year. Each of our specially designed outfits both captures the mood of the exhibition, and shows the fun of fashion that is so important to H&M,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design.

“Music and fashion go hand in hand. It was such an honour to collaborate with my friends at H&M to create an original look that perfectly represents my style.” Singer Janelle Monae.

“Being able to see something you envision come to life is a very rewarding opportunity. I’ve had so much fun collaborating with H&M to create a dress that reflects the character and splendour of this incredible exhibition.” Sarah Jessica Parker.
