Parked opposite Somerset House on the Strand this #LFW (and filled with celebrities, bloggers, editors and stylists) was the glossy pink and white SHOPCADE party bus. The world’s largest social shopping app came to London Fashion Week in the form of a distinctive double decker, dotted with clusters of candy-coloured balloons and officially became THE celebrity hangout of the season.
With the likes of Amy Willerton, Radio One’s Sarah Jane-Crawford, Hilary Alexander, Made in Chelsea’s Fran Newman-Young and Ashley James, MTV’s Lilah Parsons, Ella Catliff, celebrity stylist Rebekah Roy, V V Brown, The X-Factor’s Diana Vickers and Jade Ellis, Annaliese Dayes, indie band The Heartbreaks, TV presenters Electra Formosa and Arielle Free as well as top designers, The Rodnik Band – who did a T-shirt collaboration with Shopcade, Black Score, Alexandra Harper and Sarah Angold all spotted at the double decker hang out – it was a pretty awesome way to celebrate British fashion.
And it wasn’t just about the celebs. Some of the fashion industry’s most prestigious editors and publications also stopped by to grab a ‘Shopcade Mojito’ in between shows – including the likes of VOGUE.CO.UK, The Sunday Times Style, The Independent, InStyle, W Magazine, The Untitled Magazine, LOVE, The Telegraph, IDOL, .Cent Magazine, Candid Magazine, Notion, Stylenoir, Hunger, PHOENIX and Disorder. In a nutshell? It was THE place to be.
