After hitting Kit Neale for LCM week, it was all about the SUPERDRY AW14 all-out event show and party at the British Fashion Council’s show space at The Old Sorting Office. After a cool pre-show cocktail reception where mixologists created rum mojitos and lychee and blackberry martinis (which were yummy) and crab sushi rolls and slider burgers graced dynamic light-up box trays, it was all about the show. Revealing the brand’s most diverse collection to date the stand-out show reflected the brand’s status as a global lifestyle brand and attracted a FROW including the likes of DJ and British Fashion Council Menswear Ambassador Nick Grimshaw, Samuel L Jackson, Luke Evans, George Craig, Oliver Cheshire, Oliver Proudlock, Hugo Taylor and Lilah Parsons.
London Collections: Men is a three day event featuring British fashion talent from the likes of rising stars to heritage brands. The fabulous evening marked Superdry’s return to the bi-annual events – this time showcasing not only men’s AW14 looks, but women’s attire too. During the show the runway was flooded with SUPERDRY style tribes in the brand’s key latest AW14 drops – think leather, prints, cool military classics, all with bold and metallic twists, not to mention the label’s signature tailoring and attention to detail which it’s globally renowned for.
Superdry’s co-founder, James Holder, said:
“As a British brand, we are extremely proud to be part of London Collections: Men. The sheer scale and diversity of the collections surprised everyone at The Event, while the show’s energy and impact reflected the passion that runs deeply through the Superdry brand.”
And after the show, it was all about the party hosted by Grimy…
